The Shelly Company is seeking a Ready Mix Plant Maintenance Person to perform general maintenance and repairs at our Ohio plant. The role requires hands-on work, ability to lift heavy loads, operate welding and cutting equipment, and follow safety regulations.
You will work with a safety-conscious team, report daily, and support plant operations to minimize downtime. Prior maintenance experience and familiarity with OSHA guidelines are preferred; training opportunities are available.

Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and/or MSHA. Protective equipment that may be required, but not limited to, for this position: Hard Hat, Reflective Vest, Safety (hard toe) Shoes, and fall protection as needed.
Individuals must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations, using some combination of skills and abilities.
Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Trade school preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Limited computer skills necessary. Proficiency with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are a plus.
