Charlotte County is seeking skilled concrete and masonry workers to build, repair, and maintain essential county infrastructure. You will work on sidewalks, curbs, driveways, catch basins, walls, and other structures, using blueprints and drawings to guide your tasks.

Responsibilities include forming and pouring concrete, laying block/brick, reading plans, estimating materials and labor, and ensuring safety and quality on site. A valid driver's license and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in concrete, masonry work.

Responsabilités

• Build, repair, and maintain county infrastructure including sidewalks, curbs, driveways, catch basins, walls and other concrete, brick, and block structures.
• Form and pour concrete for catch basins and lay block/brick using blueprints and construction drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans and specifications; prepare material and labor estimates; ensure work meets specifications.
• Operate hand and power tools and use technology to support field operations and documentation.
• Maintain safe, organized work sites and follow safety protocols.
