Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is looking for a dedicated individual to support the production of concrete pipes in Rincon, Georgia. This role involves physical work, including lifting and operating equipment. You will be trained to excel in various tasks ranging from setup to shipment of finished products.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a willingness to learn, with a commitment to safety. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with preferred experience in manufacturing or construction.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical work for extended periods.
• Availability for overtime, including weekends as needed.
• Manufacturing, construction, or concrete experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support production of concrete pipe from setup through shipment.
• Assist with concrete pouring using mixers or automated equipment.
• Perform basic finishing like patching and smoothing.

Skills

Ability to perform physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs.)

What You'll Do

• Support production of concrete pipe from setup through shipment
• Set up and prepare pipe molds (clean, assemble, apply release agents)
• Place reinforcing materials (steel cages, wire) per specifications
• Assist with concrete pouring using mixers, buckets, or automated equipment
• Support curing process and strip finished pipe from molds
• Perform basic finishing (patching, smoothing, sealing joints)
• Operate or assist with vibration/compaction equipment
• Move and stage materials and finished products for curing or shipment
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
