Job summary

Commercial Metals in Oakboro, North Carolina is seeking a Production Worker to support concrete pipe production. Responsibilities include setting up molds, assisting in concrete pouring, and operating equipment while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support production of concrete pipe from setup through shipment.

What You'll Do

• Support production of concrete pipe from setup through shipment
• Set up and prepare pipe molds (clean, assemble, apply release agents)
• Place reinforcing materials (steel cages, wire) per specifications
• Assist with concrete pouring using mixers, buckets, or automated equipment
• Support curing process and strip finished pipe from molds
• Perform basic finishing (patching, smoothing, sealing joints)
• Operate or assist with vibration/compaction equipment
• Move and stage materials and finished products for curing or shipment
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
