Job summary

American Engineering Testing Inc. is seeking a Concrete Lab Technician to support daily laboratory QC tests on concrete and construction materials, ensuring compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, and ACI standards.

The Level II Technician will help develop department expertise and training initiatives. Will work in a fast-paced lab environment, performing data collection, test measurements, and equipment maintenance while collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate test results

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; two-year technical degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of related experience.
• ACI Strength Testing Technician Certificate or other certification preferred.
• Knowledge of AET services and project relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing on concrete and construction materials.
• Record data and observations of materials.
• Conduct test measurements, data reduction and data compilation.
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment.
• Provide basic on-the-job training to junior technicians.
• Schedule tests and report results to project managers.
