Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) is seeking a Concrete Lab Technician in St Paul, MN to support daily laboratory operations. You will perform soil, aggregate, and concrete testing, record data, and communicate results to project managers, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, data analysis, equipment maintenance, and ongoing training to stay on the leading edge of material testing technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two-year technical degree preferred, or 1+ year related experience.
• Successful completion of technical surveillance required in certain specialties.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing for soil, aggregate, concrete and masonry materials.
• Record data, observations, and measurements; analyze results.
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment in clean working order.
• Report test results to project managers and coordinate with staff.
• Pursue continuing education and certifications to stay current.
