Job summary

Squires Lumber Co., Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Concrete Formwork Drafter to prepare formwork shop drawings, concrete layout plans, and construction details for commercial, industrial, and civil projects.

You will use CAD software to create accurate drawings based on engineering and architectural plans while collaborating with project managers, engineers, and field teams. A strong understanding of formwork systems and construction methods is essential to meet project specifications.

Qualifications

Detail-oriented with strong attention to drawing accuracy.
Excellent communication and collaboration with PMs, engineers, and field teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with CAD software is required.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed concrete formwork shop drawings and construction drawings using CAD tools (CAD, Revit, Bluebeam).
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to resolve design conflicts.
Read and interpret architectural/structural plans to ensure accurate drawings.
Review plans to ensure constructibility and compliance with specs.
Maintain drawing revisions and document control throughout the project lifecycle.
Support fabrication and field installation teams with drawing clarification.
