Concrete Frame Associates in Denver, CO is seeking a Formwork Engineer to support project teams with structural formwork calculations and detailed drawings. You will coordinate with field staff to ensure accurate, safe, and cost-efficient formwork solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong mathematical and visualization skills
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Completed coursework in computer-aided drafting/building information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with thoroughness, attention to detail, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization, as well as customers and vendors

Responsibilities

• Plan projects to incorporate efficient, safe, and economical formwork systems
• Prepare structural formwork calculations
• Perform quality control walks to verify installed formwork meets criteria
• Prepare concrete structure and formwork drawings from project drawings, bulletins, RFIs, and other shop drawings; coordinate submittals
• Review project documents to identify conflicts and gaps; propose solutions to improve productivity and cost efficiency
• Coordinate with field supervisors for materials and equipment needs, inventory and transport
• Attend project meetings to resolve technical issues and track progress
• Review bulletins/change orders and incorporate into drawings; notify of cost impacts
• Ensure timely delivery of up-to-date drawings and instructions to job sites
• Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, drawings; manage storage of shop drawings
• Support safety goals by identifying hazards during detailing; perform special projects
• Develop and maintain customer relationships to enhance company’s ability to procure projects
