Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction L.L.C. in Hartford, CT is seeking Carpenters for concrete construction to build, erect, and dismantle formwork for foundations, walls, columns, slabs, and other structures according to project specs.

The role requires physical fitness, ability to read tape measures, experience with formwork and concrete work preferred, and compliance with safety standards. The position offers union-supported pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Frequently lifting up to 50 pounds, and up to 90 pounds with assistance when requested.
• Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching and climbing.
• Read a tape measure.
• Preference for 12 months of formwork / concrete construction work experience and 30 Hour OSHA Card.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor including site clean-up and moving materials by hand.
• Operate motorized equipment and power tools such as saws, hammers, nails and bolts.
• Assist in pouring of vertical concrete.
• Install reshores per instructions.
• Learn and assist in vertical installations, removal, framing and decking operations.
• Read a tape measure and verify dimensions.
• Work during inclement weather and in conditions of extreme cold, heat, noise and dust.
