Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction is seeking a Carpenter to build and dismantle formwork for concrete projects. You will measure, cut, assemble, and install forms for foundations, walls, columns, and slabs in accordance with specifications and safety standards.

The role requires physical endurance, experience in formwork/concrete carpentry, and familiarity with hand tools on busy construction sites. Candidates must be able to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions and lift heavy materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months formwork or concrete carpenter experience.
• Preferred 30 Hour OSHA Card.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• Occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions and dust.

Responsibilities

• Build, erect, and dismantle formwork and concrete structures per project specs and safety standards.
• Operate power tools, saws, hammers, nails, and bolts on site.
• Perform general labor including site cleanup and material handling.
• Assist in pouring vertical concrete and in framing/decking operations.
• Read and use a tape measure to ensure accurate dimensions.
• Work in varying weather conditions including cold and heat.
