Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction in Ithaca, NY is seeking skilled carpenters for concrete construction projects. You will build, erect, and dismantle formwork for foundations, walls, columns, slabs and other structures in accordance with project specs and safety standards.

Responsibilities include general labor, operating power tools, reading a tape measure, and working in varying weather. Preference for 12 months of formwork/concrete carpentry experience and 30-hour OSHA card.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Good balance and physical strength required.
• Alert and safety-conscious with reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor, site clean-up and material handling.
• Operate power tools, saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
• Read a tape measure and interpret project specs.
• Assist in pouring vertical concrete and installing forms.
