Job summary

Jobot is hosting an opportunity in the Tampa area for an experienced concrete crew lead. You will direct curb, gutter, sidewalk and related site concrete work, interpreting plans, scheduling crews and materials, and ensuring finish quality on schedule.

The role requires 5+ years of site development concrete supervision, solid plan-reading skills, and a clean driving record. FDOT knowledge is a plus and OSHA training is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years running concrete crews in site development, heavy civil or roadway construction.
• Strong plan reading and grade and layout skills.
• Working knowledge of FDOT and local municipal specs preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, train and hold a crew accountable in a production environment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record, OSHA 10 or 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead concrete crews on curb, gutter, sidewalk, flatwork, inlets, structures and related site concrete.
• Read and interpret plans, grades and specs, and lay out work accordingly.
• Schedule labor, equipment and material deliveries to keep production on pace with the project schedule.
• Own daily quality control, forming, placement, finishing and inspection readiness.

Salary: $38 - $48 per hour
