Job summary

Florida Coastal Paving is seeking an experienced Crew Foreman to lead concrete operations in the Tampa region. You will supervise field crews, ensure productivity, and uphold quality standards while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance with project specifications.

You will read plans, coordinate with management, and mentor team members to deliver quality pavement work. The role offers ongoing opportunities with a growing company and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in concrete/asphalt operations.
• Prior experience in a Foreman or Crew Lead role preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required (CDL a plus).
• Ability to manage crews and maintain productivity under tight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead concrete crews in the field.
• Train and mentor crew members.
• Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, and equipment with project management.
• Ensure proper paving methods, grades, joint construction, and compaction.
• Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and work orders.
• Maintain job site safety, enforce OSHA regulations, and promote safe work practices.
• Communicate effectively with superintendents, project managers, inspectors, and crew members.
• Complete daily reports, production logs, and time tracking as required.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with standards.
• Assist with hands-on paving work as needed.
