Job summary

Delaware Valley Paving is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to supervise crews in the Philadelphia and/or New Jersey region. The role focuses on daily productivity, quality, and safety in line with project specs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in concrete/asphalt ops and foreman experience, with CDL a plus. Competitive pay, weekly pay, overtime, health coverage after 90 days, and steady long-term employment are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead concrete crews in the field.
• Train and mentor crew members.

• Ensure proper paving methods, grades, joint construction, and compaction.
• Read project plans and work orders; maintain safety and OSHA compliance.
• Communicate with superintendents, project managers, inspectors, and crew.
• Complete daily reports and time tracking; inspect finished work.

This role is responsible for supervising daily concrete productivity and quality standards, and ensuring all work is performed safely and in accordance with project specifications.

Delaware Valley Paving is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead crews based out of the Philadelphia and/or New Jersey region. This role is responsible for supervising daily concrete productivity and quality standards, and ensuring all work is performed safely and in accordance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead concrete crews in the field
• Train and mentor crew members
• Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, and equipment with project management
• Ensure proper paving methods, grades, joint construction, and compaction
• Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and work orders
• Maintain job site safety, enforce OSHA regulations, and promote safe work practices
• Communicate effectively with superintendents, project managers, inspectors, and crew members
• Complete daily reports, production logs, and time tracking as required
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with standards
• Assist with hands-on paving work as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete/asphalt operations
• Prior experience in a Foreman or Crew Lead role preferred
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required (CDL a plus)
• Ability to manage crews and maintain productivity under tight schedules
