Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Concrete Foreman to lead field crews on commercial, residential, and agricultural concrete projects in the Eastern Iowa market. You will oversee concrete placement, forming, finishing, and coordinating materials and equipment while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of concrete construction experience with foreman or lead responsibilities, strong leadership and blueprint-reading skills, and a valid driver's license.

  • Ability to read blueprints and project plans.
  • Strong knowledge of safety practices and OSHA requirements.

Job Details
  • 3+ years of experience in concrete construction, with previous foreman or lead experience preferred.
  • Experience leading and directing concrete crews of 5+ employees.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete placement, forming, reinforcing, finishing, and related construction processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and project plans.
  • Ability to coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and daily work activities.
  • Experience working on commercial, residential, and/or agricultural concrete projects.
  • Ability to maintain project schedules while ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety practices and OSHA requirements.
  • Ability to document labor, equipment hours, materials, and daily production.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a field crew.
  • Reliable work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ pounds as needed.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with Trimble, Leica, total stations, or similar construction technology is a plus.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen.
