Job summary

B is seeking a Commercial Concrete Finisher to perform carpentry tasks related to prepping, pouring, placing and finishing concrete. You will read drawings, build forms, verify elevations, and support concrete placement on a variety of structures, while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings and prints.
• Experience building and placing concrete forms for floors, walls, and structures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and prints to prep forms and layouts.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete structures.
• Set forms to elevations and locations, assist with reinforcing steel.
• Erect forms using various materials and forming systems.
• Verify accuracy of structures using plumb bob, level, laser, or transit.
• Set up scaffolding and ladders for work above ground.
• Communicate with Foreman or Project Manager on issues and needs.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
