Job summary

Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Concrete Finishers / Form Setters for upcoming commercial construction projects in Green Bay, Appleton, Wisconsin Rapids, and Manitowoc, WI. Candidates should have at least 3 years of concrete finishing and/or form setting experience working on commercial projects such as curbs, sidewalks, parking lots, slabs, foundations, and other concrete structures.

Pay: Up to $40/hour, based on experience and skill level.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of concrete finishing and/or form setting experience.
• Commercial concrete construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and project specifications.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to perform physically demanding outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Set, build, brace, and align concrete forms to required dimensions, elevations, and grades.
• Measure and lay out formwork according to blueprints and project specifications.
• Prepare work areas and forms prior to concrete placement.
• Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete.
• Finish concrete for curbs, sidewalks, parking lots, slabs, foundations, and other commercial applications.
• Use hand and power tools to screed, float, edge, trowel, and finish concrete.
• Strip and remove forms after concrete has properly cured.
• Apply curing compounds and other treatments as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, elevations, and project specifications.
• Ensure completed formwork and concrete meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Work safely and efficiently with other trades and members of the construction team.
