Qualifications

Prior experience in concrete finishing, flatwork, or general concrete construction.
Proficiency with hand tools, power trowels, bull floats, and screeds.
Read blueprints and follow project specifications.
Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
Valid driver's license preferred.
CDL eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

Pour, spread, and level concrete on flatwork, slabs, driveways, sidewalks, and foundations.
Use hand and power tools to finish concrete surfaces to specified grades and textures.
Apply curing compounds and sealers to protect finished concrete surfaces.
Read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and project specifications.
Set forms and screeds to guide concrete placement and ensure proper elevation.
Monitor concrete consistency and make adjustments as needed during pours.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with safety standards.
