Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings and prints.
• Experience in building and assembling wood or metal forms.
• Knowledge of forming systems, especially symon forms.
• Commitment to safety policies and guidelines.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and prints.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, etc.
• Set and place forms to elevations and locations; assist with reinforcing steel as needed.
• Erect forms using various materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using a plumb bob, carpenter's level, laser or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground work.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager about issues or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
