Job summary

Qualifications

• Verify accuracy of structures with basic tools.
• Communicate with Foreman or Project Manager about needs and hazards.
• Adhere to all safety policies and guidelines.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Experience in construction or contracting industry.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build/assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, walls, columns, tilt-walls, and slabs.
• Set and place forms to elevations; aid in placing reinforcement.
• Erect forms using various materials and systems, mainly symon forms.
• Verify accuracy with plumb bob, level, laser or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for elevated work.
• Communicate with Foreman/Project Manager about issues and needs.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
