Express Employment Professionals in Appleton, WI is hiring for a concrete finish/flatwork technician. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm, and pay is up to $45.00 per hour.

The role requires performing concrete flatwork for commercial and residential projects and handling cutting, back work, drain tile installation, and finishing surfaces to spec. You will work outdoors in varying weather, operate hand and power tools, and maintain site safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in concrete flatwork and industrial cutting required.
• Experience with cut-and-pour back work and drain tile installation preferred.
• Ability to read and follow job specifications and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete flatwork for commercial and residential projects.
• Execute industrial concrete cutting and removal tasks.
• Complete cut-and-pour back work, including saw cutting and replacement of concrete sections.
• Install drain tile systems and assist with related site preparation.
• Finish concrete surfaces to specified grades and textures.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and concrete finishing equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and direct sun.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
