Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Technician for contract-to-hire work on commercial construction sites in Hampton, GA. You will perform foundation work, build forms, pour concrete, and apply finishing techniques while reading blueprints and maintaining safety on site.

The role requires 1–4+ years in construction, with travel per diem provided and a fully onsite environment. Pay is $25.00–$30.00/hr, and the position offers potential for long-term employment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–4+ years of construction experience, including commercial projects.
• 1–4+ years as carpenter and concrete worker.
• 1–4+ years building forms, pouring concrete, and finishing.
• Proficient with reading blueprints and construction drawings.
• Comfort with travel on projects and per diem when required.
• Able to work outdoors and indoors on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform foundation work, including layout and construction of structural elements.
• Build concrete forms and platforms per drawings and specs.
• Mix and pour concrete safely and accurately.
• Run, tie, and pull rebar to reinforce structures.
• Finish concrete surfaces to required quality and appearance.
• Read blueprints and construction drawings to execute tasks.
• Use hand/power tools, levels, and tape measures for carpentry and concrete work.
• Perform rough and form carpentry as needed for commercial projects.
• Install/assemble concrete forms, sheetrock, and related materials.
• Follow site safety procedures and keep area clean.
