Job summary

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, and columns.
• Set and place forms to elevations and locations; assist with reinforcing steel as needed.
• Erect forms using diverse materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures with plumb bob, carpenter’s level, laser or digital transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembly at height.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager about issues, material needs, or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
