Job summary

PeopleReady of Eau Claire, WI is seeking a Concrete Finisher to join our team. You will pour, smooth, and finish concrete, monitor curing conditions, and help ensure the work meets project specs.

This position offers 1st Shift (Day) hours and an opportunity to work with a national staffing company. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of concrete laborer/finisher experience, is reliable with excellent attendance, can work well both independently and in a team, and can pass a drug test.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years experience as a Concrete Laborer/Finisher.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be reliable with excellent attendance.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be very safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Pour, smooth and finish concrete with screeds, floats, trowels, and broom.
• Apply compounds and sealers to finished concrete and ensure adequate supplies.
• Monitor weather conditions during curing and adjust accordingly.
• Ensure concrete finish meets project specifications and quality standards.
• Assist with training new employees advancing into a Finisher role.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $32 - $32 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Concrete Finisher:

• Pour, smooth and finish concrete with use of screeds, floats, trowels, and broom
• Apply compounds and sealers to finished concrete and ensure adequate supplies
• Monitor the effects of weather conditions such as heat, cold, and wind during the concrete curing process and adjust accordingly
• Ensure concrete finish meets project specifications and quality standards
• Assist with training new employees advancing into a Finisher role

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Must have minimum 5 years experience as a Concrete Laborer/Finisher
• Must be reliable, with an excellent attendance history

• Drug test required
