Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete, run slump, air, temperature, and cylinder tests, and document results the same day. Outdoor, physical work across multiple sites with training and certification sponsorship.

No prior experience required for entry level; we train and pay for certifications, with hourly wages and overtime as schedules demand. You’ll learn to assess field conditions and read job sites to ensure accurate results.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in varied environments.
• Reliable, detail-first, and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31; run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938; prepare daily field reports tied to placement locations; maintain gauge standardization and chain of custody; communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
