Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample and test fresh concrete, perform concrete tests, and document results on site. No prior experience is required as we provide structured training and sponsor certifications.

You will operate field-density and moisture tests, maintain equipment, and report results directly to superintendents. The role is outdoor, physical, and critical to project quality and timelines.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Entry-level available; no prior experience required, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on the spot.
