Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample and test fresh concrete, run slump, air, temperature, and cylinder sets, and document results the same day. You will verify soil compaction with a nuclear density gauge and report findings to superintendents on site.

Entry level is welcome as we train you and sponsor ACI Field Grade I, nuclear gauge safety certification, and NICET levels; travel across sites is common, outdoor work, physical, and your payday reflects overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying climates.
• Reliable, detail-first and coachable.
• ACI Field Grade I certification or willingness to pursue (company sponsors).

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to locations.
• Communicate results to superintendents on site.
