Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample concrete, test slump, air, temperature, and cylinder sets on active sites. Work is outside, physically demanding, and you will learn to read jobsite conditions and communicate numbers clearly to superintendents.

No experience required; we train and sponsor ACI Field Grade I, nuclear gauge safety, and NICET levels as you progress. You will join a team that values accuracy, safety, and hands-on problem solving across multiple

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Certification sponsorship: ACI Field Grade I, NICET I/II, and nuclear gauge safety.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064, and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938.
• Prepare clear daily field reports tied to placement locations.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody.
• Communicate results to superintendents on-site.
