Job summary

Ready Mixed Concrete Co., A CRH Company, in Omaha is seeking a Field Service Specialist to perform concrete testing and monitor quality for ready-mixed concrete. You will handle ASTM tests, manage test data, and interact with customers on-site to resolve issues promptly.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with Excel and quality control software. Occasional travel to other locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years related experience or equivalent.
• Experience in building materials/construction is preferred.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook; ability to use databases.

Responsibilities

• Perform required ASTM tests on plastic concrete (slump, air, unit weight, temperature, yield).
• Maintain concrete test results and statistics for each standard mix.
• Input testing data into quality control software and draft reports.
• Coordinate concrete mix design adjustments with Plant Foreman/Batchmen.
• Provide quality customer service and maintain professional relationships with customers.
