NexGen Contracting, the self-perform arm of Gray Construction, is seeking a skilled Concrete Estimator in Lexington, KY to review RFPs, perform quantity take-offs, and compile cost estimates for bids. The role involves soliciting bids, verifying scopes, and preparing proposals, with opportunities to assist in bid reviews and pre-award meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 4 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years cost estimating for large commercial self-perform concrete projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% and work extended hours as required.

Responsabilités

• Review RFPs, perform quantity take-offs, and document cost estimates.
• Solicit bids, verify scopes, prepare proposals, and participate in bid reviews.
• Assist Senior Estimator and Preconstruction Manager as needed.
• Conduct job walks and observe field conditions that may impact bids.
