Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years customer service experience or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude to learn the ready-mix truck components including electrical, pneumatics, water systems, and mixer controls.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and dispatching programs; write routine reports and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate the ready-mix truck and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintenance as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of mixer drum, hopper, and chutes; ensure proper wiring and drum certification.
• Record water adjustments, test results, and customer signatures on tablets or documentation.
• Assist in coordinating loading, discharge, and delivery to job sites; ensure accurate ticket information.
