Job summary

RMCI, Inc. is hiring a concrete carpenter to form, pour, and finish concrete structures on varied construction sites. You will interpret blueprints, assemble MEVA formwork, and ensure precise measurements and high-quality finishes.

The role requires physical endurance, safety awareness, and the ability to coordinate with other trades to meet project timelines. This is a full-time on-site position with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience as a concrete carpenter or in a formwork construction role.
• Proficiency with MEVA formwork systems and blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Formwork construction for walls, columns, beams, decks, and foundations.
• Measure and layout forms according to blueprints and specs.
• Pour concrete and finish with screeds and trowels to required smoothness.
• Strip forms after curing and inspect for defects.
• Repair and patch concrete surfaces and structures as needed.
• Inspect work for conformance to specs, quality standards, and safety.
• Collaborate with crews and adhere to safety policies.
• Clean and maintain tools and work areas.
