Job summary

Methuen Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Concrete Carpenter to perform prefabrication, assembly, and installation across water/wastewater and other projects. This full-time, hourly non-exempt role reports to the Foreman and requires extensive on-site work in a fast-paced construction environment.

The position demands at least 5 years in construction, ability to lift 50 pounds, and comfort working at active sites with various trades. Benefits and travel may apply as per company policy.

Qualifications

• High School or Vocational and/or relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Prefabricate concrete footings, walls, columns, and slabs.
• Assemble prefabricated forming systems.
• Set screeds, chamfer, and rustication strips in formwork.
• Erection and assembly of wood framing, blocking, nailers, strapping, and carpenters iron.
• Install finished molding, beads, trim, cabinets, and counters.
• Install doors and hardware.
• Install drywall and associated metal framing.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and staging for all trades.
• Install acoustic tile ceilings.
• Install insulation materials in walls and slabs.
• Erect siding on buildings.
• Install wood and vinyl flooring systems.
• Window installation.
• Exterior fascia, soffits, and trim.
• Acoustical treatment.
• FRP, PVC and other plastics installation.
• Set, place, and align wall castings and sleeves.
