Job summary

Methuen Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Concrete Carpenter for our team in the New England area. This full-time, hourly non-exempt role involves prefabrication, assembly, and installation of concrete forms, walls, and related structures on active job sites.

The successful candidate will have a high school or vocational education and at least 5 years in construction, proven teamwork skills, and the stamina to work in a dynamic field environment with safety and quality as top priorities.

Qualifications

• High School or Vocational education or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Prefabricate forms for concrete footings, walls, columns, and slabs.
• Assemble prefabricated forming systems.
• Set screeds, chamfer, and rustication strips in formwork.
• Erection and assembly of wood framing, blocking, nailers, strapping, and carpenters iron.
• Install finished molding, beads, trim, custom millwork, cabinets, and counters.
• Install doors and finished hardware.
• Install drywall and associated metal framing.
