Job summary

Skillit is seeking experienced concrete carpenters for Columbus, OH per diem assignments to build and assemble concrete forms on government and commercial projects. You will read drawings, lay out formwork, reinforce, and ensure pours proceed smoothly on site.

This hands-on role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, valid driver's license, and readiness for multi-week assignments with potential overtime and travel support.

Qualifications

• Bilingual: English and Spanish required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• Experience on government or commercial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Willingness to pass site drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Build, set and brace concrete forms per drawings and site requirements.
• Install reinforcement, form ties, and accessories; ensure correct placement before pours.
• Collaborate with crew to support concrete placement, finishing crews, and form removal.
• Inspect formwork for accuracy and quality; maintain tools, rigging, and on-site equipment.
• Work on government or commercial job sites in all weather conditions.

About this roleWe need experienced concrete carpenters in Columbus, OH for per diem assignments building and assembling concrete forms.
