Job summary

Building Ventures in Carrollton, GA is seeking a hands-on concrete laborer to join a local crew. You’ll pour, place, finish, and form on active job sites, starting early and moving at a steady pace to meet schedules. This role is physical and requires following safety rules under a foreman on site.

You will work with a small crew, using common concrete tools and equipment, with on-the-job training and clear steps for skill growth. Overtime opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10-hour construction safety knowledge or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Spanish language skills a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Set forms, layout grade stakes, and prepare subgrade for pours.
• Mix, place, consolidate, screed and finish concrete surfaces (floors, sidewalks, curbs).
• Operate hand and power tools: trowels, wrenches, saws, power screeds, and floats.
• Protect finished work with curing methods and perform cleanup of forms and tools.
• Follow site safety plans, maintain housekeeping, and report equipment issues.
