Job summary

Aerotek is hiring experienced Concrete Carpenters and Form Setters for a major data center project in El Paso, TX. The role focuses on structural concrete formwork, beam walls, stem walls, curbs, and embedded components with strict safety standards.

Requires 2–3 years in concrete carpentry, blueprint reading, and OSHA 10. Onsite work with 60-hour weeks and potential OT; contract-to-hire with per diem benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of commercial or industrial concrete carpentry experience.
• Proven experience forming and setting beam walls, stem walls, curbs, foundations, and slab edge forms.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Experience with wood and metal forming systems.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Build, install, brace, and strip concrete forms for beam walls, stem walls, curbs, equipment pads, and foundations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, layout drawings, and concrete placement plans.
• Establish grades, elevations, and form alignment to meet project specifications and tolerances.
• Install embeds, anchor bolt templates, sleeves, and block outs for MEP and equipment installations.
• Verify dimensions, elevations, and formwork before concrete placement.
• Collaborate with laborers, finishers, operators, and survey crews to prepare areas for pours.
• Perform form modifications and repairs throughout the construction process.
• Adhere to site safety requirements and maintain tools and work areas.

Job Description

We are hiring experienced Concrete Form Setters for a major data center construction project in El Paso, TX. This role requires expertise in structural concrete formwork, including forming and setting beam walls, stem walls, curbs, slab edge forms, and embedded components, while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

• Ability to work 60 hours a week (Mon-Thursday 10-hour days and Fri-Sat 8-hour days).
• Experience in data center construction.

Pay and Benefits
