Job summary

Responsibilities

• Build and install wood, metal, and manufactured concrete forming systems.
• Form footings, foundations, walls, columns, grade beams, slabs, and other concrete structures.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and secure forming materials.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, dimensions, elevations, and layout information.
• Tying of rebar reinforcing.
• Set forms accurately to line, grade, elevation, and required dimensions.
• Install blockouts, embeds, anchor bolt templates, chamfer strips, and related components.
• Brace and secure forms to withstand concrete placement.
• Strip and clean forms following concrete placement.
• Inspect forming materials and reusable systems for damage.
• Assist with concrete placement and other concrete-related activities when needed.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, saws, and construction equipment.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Follow company safety requirements and use required PPE.
