Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some technical, vocational or education preferred
• Working knowledge of OSHA/DOT regulations
• Meet or exceed company safety standards
• Basic concrete knowledge

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete batching process ensuring correct aggregates, cement, additives, and water proportions
• Follow procedures to correct deficiencies in plant operation
• Interact with sales and customer service to ensure product meets specs
• Ensure established performance indicators are met
• Assist in maintenance and visual evaluations of plant and equipment
• Coordinate with plant supervisor to resolve issues and improve performance
• Promote safety and comply with OSHA rules and regulations
• Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
