Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Batch Person to manage daily batching operations in our concrete plant and to document material inflows accurately. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to OSHA/DOT regulations, and collaboration with the sales team to ensure product specifications are met.

The ideal candidate will have basic computer skills, familiarity with Windows, and the ability to perform minor maintenance tasks and safety checks as part of a disciplined operations team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational education preferred.
• Familiar with OSHA/DOT regulations; safety standards awareness.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete batching process to assure correct aggregates and cement proportions.
• Record incoming materials daily and ensure documentation.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service to meet specs.
• Maintain plant safety and compliance with regulations.
• Support ongoing minor maintenance and equipment checks.
• Work with supervisor to resolve issues and improve performance.
• Follow procedures to correct deficiencies in plant operation.
• Wear safety gear and adhere to all rules.
