Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an entry-level contributor to perform basic concrete tasks under close supervision. This role provides hands-on experience in safe work practices and concrete construction techniques on our projects.

The position supports form setup, placement, finishing, and curing, with emphasis on learning and safety. 0–2 years of experience is typical, and OSHA 10 certification is preferred or required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in concrete construction or a related trade.
• OSHA 10- Hour Construction certification preferred; OSHA 10 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in form setup, placement, and finishing of concrete under direct supervision.
• Prepares and maintains clean, organized work areas and tools.
• Supports crew in basic concrete finishing and curing operations.
• Follows DPR Construction’s safety procedures and uses required protective equipment.
• Participates in training and on-the-job learning to develop technical and safety skills.
• Communicates effectively with crew members and responds to direction promptly.
• Performs cleanup and assists with material handling as directed.
