Job summary

The Fota Island Resort in County Cork seeks a Concierge Supervisor to lead daily guest services, manage the Concierge team, and ensure SOPs are followed. This on-site role requires a full driving license and a professional, guest-focused demeanor.

The position involves coordinating with Front Office and Reception, overseeing VIP arrivals, and driving continuous improvements in guest satisfaction. The role offers on-site facilities and opportunities for staff education under The Fota Collection.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent guest service experience.
• Carry out all daily Concierge duties while on shift as per the departmental standards.
• Communicate updates and announcements to the Concierge Team.
• Introduce new procedures from SOP development through to implementation and monitoring.
• Assist in running departmental meetings.
• Liaise with Front Office Manager on concerns or requests.
• Coordinate maintenance and upkeep of concierge vehicles.
• Ensure all Concierge SOPs are followed.
• Train new team members.
• Coordinate with Reception and Guest Relations on guest requests and arrangements.
• Manage the Concierge email inbox.
• Oversee arrival of VIP guests.

Fota Island Resort is currently recruiting for the position of Concierge Supervisor. Please note a full drivers licence is required for the position.

Responsibilities

• To provide an excellent guest service experience
• To carry out all daily Concierge duties while on shift as per the departmental standards
• Communicating updates and announcements to the Concierge Team
• Introducing new procedures, at SOP development stage through to implementing and monitoring progress to enhance guest experience and satisfaction
• Assist in the running of departmental meetings
• Liaising with the Front Office Manager in relation to any concerns or requests highlighted by the team

• Ensuring all Concierge SOPs are being followed
• Training of new team members
