Job summary

GardaWorld Security is seeking a Concierge Security Officer in Durham, NC. You will focus on customer service, welcoming visitors, verifying identity, and guiding guests across shifts in office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

The ideal candidate has exceptional customer service, basic tech skills, and readiness for a thorough screening process. A state license, if required, is preferred. Background checks and drug screening may follow an offer.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• State license if required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist visitors, verify identity, and guide visitors.
• Manage access control.
• Perform regular patrols to identify risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Ensure safety and protection of people and property.
