Job summary

Meridian Senior Living seeks a Concierge/Receptionist in Ventura, CA. The role greets guests, answers phones, and serves as the first point of contact for residents and visitors. The position requires strong communication and compassion for the elderly.

Part-time hours with a focus on creating a welcoming environment and smooth front desk operations. Prior office or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience answering telephones or in customer service.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Able to communicate clearly with staff, residents, families, and visitors.
• Fluent English reading/writing/speaking.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a warm, friendly manner and handle front desk inquiries.
• Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate staff.
• Assist residents and visitors while maintaining confidentiality.

The Concierge/Receptionist greets all guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner – whether this be in-person or over the phone. This position creates a welcoming environment as the first contact guests have when they enter the community.

QualificationsRequirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience answering telephones and/or in a customer service position
• Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to deal tactfully with employees, residents, family members, and visitors
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
