Job summary

UofL Health, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Representative III to serve as the first point of contact for VIP patients and providers.

You will schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and coordinate across clinic and hospital systems to ensure a positive patient experience. The role requires high school level education, 2+ years of scheduling experience, and outstanding customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years scheduling experience in physician practices is required.
• Excellent customer service skills and professionalism are essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls with exceptional service and schedule appointments according to clinic standards.
• Schedule, reschedule, or route appointments to Level II agents as needed.
• Use physician templates and access center systems to determine appropriate referrals.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure a smooth scheduling process.
• Monitor guidelines and ensure scheduling compliance across the organization.
