Job summary

Prismhr Hire is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Medical Front Office to join our Allergy & Immunology practice. The ideal candidate will bring strong front desk experience, excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while providing concierge-level service to our patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of front office experience in a medical practice (Allergy & Immunology experience a plus).
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of insurance verification and referral processes.
• Excellent multitasking, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume phone lines professionally and compassionately.
• Relay messages accurately to physicians and staff.
• Schedule patient appointments including consultations and allergy testing.
• Collect and update patient demographics and insurance data.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and referrals (Medicare/HMO/PPO).
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, balances at check-in/out.
• Greet patients warmly and provide concierge-style service.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and front office organization.
• Fax, scan, and manage medical records, referrals, test results.
• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to support operations.
