Kids for the Future in Charleston, WV seeks a bartender to monitor seating, deliver friendly service, and uphold safety and cleanliness in the club lounge. You will prepare and serve hot, cold, and alcoholic beverages, stock supplies, and assist with opening and closing duties.
The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and hands-on collaboration with the kitchen and staff to forecast guest needs and ensure a smooth guest experience.
Monitor club lounge for seating availability, service, safety, and wellbeing of guests. Maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools. Prepare and serve hot, cold, and/or alcoholic beverages. Stock ice, glassware, and supplies. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly. Wash dishes and serving utensils as needed. Complete opening and closing duties. Requisition all necessary supplies, transporting supplies from storeroom to bar set-up area as required. Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas. Document pertinent information in department logbook. Forecast additional meal requirements and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Concierge will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time) and taking a hands-on approach to their work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping). Doing all these things well (and other reasonable job duties as requested) is critical for Bartenders – to get it right for our guests and our business each and every time.
