Job summary

Solstice Senior Living is seeking a part-time Concierge who enjoys helping seniors and has prior experience as a concierge in a senior living setting. The role requires flexible availability, typically Monday–Friday 2pm–6pm, with ability to fill in other shifts as needed.

The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, dependable, and a team player who loves working with and serving the senior population. Previous experience in a senior living community is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• One to three years of customer service experience and/or training.
• Experience as a concierge in a senior living community preferred.
• Friendly, outgoing, dependable demeanor with a love for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Greets residents, guests and employees; manages external and internal calls and messages.
• Provides general information and directions; maintains organized desk and entry area.
• Updates daily lists, schedules, and logs; coordinates appointments and move-related tasks.
• Distributes mail and prepares meal tickets; supports dining staff as needed.
• Maintains adherence to company policies; performs other duties as assigned.

Our community is looking for a Concierge to join our team.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for greeting guests, residents, and employees, managing both external and internal calls, taking and communicating messages, and providing information of a general nature.

Responsibilities:

• Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required.
• Takes complete messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the intended recipient.
• Greets residents and visitors. Answers inquiries and gives directions.
• Collates brochures for the marketing department.
• Prepares meal tickets for team members and family members, tallies meal count sheets for the Dining staff.
• Updates the Resident Phone List and Roster and Move-In and Move-Out Register daily; Guest and Sign-In Logs as necessary.
• Manages appointments for residents and family members such as but not limited to hairdresser, transportation, etc.
• Maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized.
• Organizes, distributes mail to residents, Executive Director and Department Coordinators.
• Maintains resident forms for miscellaneous credits.
• Maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• One to three years customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
