Job summary

Hall of Fame Village in Canton, Ohio is seeking a Concessions Supervisor to manage concessions operations during events. The role includes opening/closing duties, food prep, inventory assistance, and coordinating with third-party F&B operators.

Reports to the Director of Food & Beverage. Responsibilities include supervising staff during events, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining high sanitation and safety standards, and assisting in ordering and training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to calculate basic math functions related to POS transactions, cash reconciliation, and inventory.
• Must handle cash accurately and responsibly.
• Flexible and reliable team player, within department and organization.
• Able to communicate with staff and guests in a professional, respectful manner.
• Able to work independently and maintain high performance, quickly without compromising quality.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior guest service to visitors, guests, clients, vendors, and staff at all times.
• Assist in opening/closing checklists and month-end inventory counts.
• Ensure high quality of foods and services for guest satisfaction.
• Prepare and present all food items with professional display.
• Operate POS and handle payments and change.
• Clean and restock concessions area daily.
• Train concessions staff for events.
• Plan, assign, and direct work for employees.
• Supervise concessions staff during events.
• Comply with Health Department and Alcohol Commission regulations.
• Interact extensively with staff and customers during events.
• Assist in ordering products and equipment by Concessions Manager.
• Maintain safe and sanitary facilities and waste management.
