Job summary

The Guthrie Theater is seeking a Concessions Coordinator to lead daily concession operations during performances, events and rentals. You will supervise staff, prepare beverages, manage inventory, and ensure food safety and responsible alcohol service.

We expect strong leadership, hospitality skills, and a commitment to our values. This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays in a dynamic theater environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in concessions, hospitality, food service, or related field.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• English communication skills required.
• POS experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Open and close concession operations for performances, events, and rentals.
• Supervise concession staff and assignments.
• Prepare batched beverages and manage inventory.
• Monitor inventory, rotate stock, and handle deliveries.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and hospitality.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service laws and SOPs.
• Complete daily operational reports and shift documentation.
• Collaborate with House Management and other departments.
